Cade Leebron lives in Columbus, OH. She holds a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, she served as Online & Art Editor for The Journal. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Brevity, Day One, The Boiler, VIDA Review, South Carolina Review, Electric Literature, The Establishment, Wordgathering, American Literary Review, Inside Higher Ed, Yemassee Journal, CAROUSEL, Midway Journal, and elsewhere.
Cade is the recipient of the 2015 Helen Earnhart Harley Creative Writing Fellowship in Nonfiction, the 2015 & 2016 Haidee Forsyth Burkhardt Award, and a 2016 Winchester Fellowship from Wesleyan University. In 2017 she was a semifinalist for Fear No Lit’s Submerging Writer Fellowship. She co-hosts the podcast The Cold Take with Jackie Hedeman. Her alter ego, Fennel the Millennial, is good friends with Tipsy Tullivan.
Currently, Cade is working on a memoir and a collection of poetry.
